Toxic [Cover to Cover]

It's time for another Cover to Cover. "Cover to Cover" is just that. Two (or more) cover versions of the same song, in one post. So that you can compare and contrast the similarities and differences in a three page essay. 


Taking on Britney Spears' Toxic are two different groups. The lighter side is the Chapin Sisters. Best known for being the daughters of Harry Chapin who aren't Mary Chapin Carpenter, the girls have a light airy accoustic ballad-y take on the song.

On the other side of the coin is Static Lullaby, from the Punk Goes Pop 2 CD. A heavy heavy version with toxic vocals. Awesome.

And how fucking dare any of you make fun of Britney! Leave Britney Alone! Please! *sob*
