Crazy

There's been a number of songs called "Crazy." Patsy Cline did one. Seal did one. However in early 2006 there was one "Crazy," and it was everywhere. You simply couldn't escape Gnarls Barkley. 


This however, isn't that song. Not exactly anyway. Violent Femmes released a cover of the song on June 24, 2008.  It was their first newly recorded song since 2000, which wasn't entirely new anyway, just a redone version of "Blister in the Sun" called "Blister 2000" for the Grosse Point Blank soundtrack. 


Take it as a musical nod to Gnarls Barkley for their cover over the Violent Femmes song "Gone Daddy Gone."


Hmmm ... that gives me and idea for the next post!
