Every Rose Has It’s Thorn [Miley Cyrus / Poison] From the vault … Aug. 12, 2012 I feel sorry for the youth of today. I really do. Growing up we had a few songs that we’d call guilty pleasures. Almost every song on the radio now qualifies as a guilty pleasure. We had great bands like Poison. They have crappy Disney teen junk like Miley Cyrus covering Poison. And I say this in spite of Miley being of legal consenting age now, so you know I mean it.

Your Momma Don’t Dance [ Poison / Loggins & Messina ] Yeah, it’s a hair metal standard. But it’s also a song originally by Loggins and Messina. Yeah, Loggins … as in Kenny Loggins the guy who put out an entire album of Winnie the Pooh music. I wonder how Winnie the Pooh would look in Spandex and Leather.

Some people might say that Poison covering Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack" is just a desperate attempt to stay relevant and appeal to the under 21 demographic. The counter argument is that bandanna Bret Micheal has had crazy glued to to his head for the past decade is some kind of mind control device that forced him to do it. I'm kidding of course. There is no other option than the first one.
